We bought our exterior shades some years ago and was pleased to find these exact replacement parts. I was hoping that I didn't have to buy new blinds as no replacements were available. The general quality is good but I would pay extra to get the loop part in stainless steel. That lowers my rating to 4 stars. But the replacement wasn't that expensive all things considered and I bought one for each of my blinds so I should be good for several years now. Also shipping was quick so that's a plus

We bought 6 shades about three years ago and rarely roll them up but plastic ring on the one most used snapped in two, costing us $15 to replace. The shade is fine, but the roll up mechanism is NOT durable.

Purchased product last year for use in the Sacramento Valley. Removed shade for winter from OCT until today APR16. Returned the roller shade to the mounting bracket. The plastic clip in the right (non-crank) side designed to hold the roller in place snapped off. Service life less than 6 months. Replacement part on website is $15.00 plus shipping or 25% of original purchase price. Like the product, but was hoping for a bit more trouble free enjoyment.

The crank looks good and works decent but in the Sun the plastic becomes really bridal and breaks easy
